We knew Prime Minister Trudeau would be speaking in the afternoon.  Then we RECEIVED an invitation...

We thought...why not?  So we asked...

It was exciting, but the kids wanted to know why he didn't answer our question.

I said, that his answer was within his speech.  Also,  he is a very busy man and we can't expect him to say "@7aTweets, here is your answer..."

and then this happened....

And that is why I love twitter in my classroom.

Twitter in the classroom is an excellent idea! Thanks for sharing your experience! I can't make my students sit still when they see Twitter.. They become very agitated and noisy. It seems that I don't know how to use if smartly and wisely. Thanks for the idea again!

The verification technique does use a practical reason. Twitter brims with bogus or parody accounts. So when end users are sifting by a list of opportunity usernames, it can help to have indicators to help locate the actual person they need to observe.
