EQAO has got me thinking....

Apparently the EQAO is not just getting students thinking, but me as well.  A few things came to my mind today as I was working with students as they fought so hard to do their best on their test.

#1 - Why have I not included a Special Education section on this site!?!

Seriously...what was I thinking?  So clearly, I have now added a tab for Special Education, where I can start to share some handy links & resources that I have had shared with me.  If you have any you want me to pass along, please let me know!  Check out the link I added to the Parent Resource Page that is currently on our school website.   This is a collection of sites from all of us in the "Special Services Department" (we can create our own department can't we?).

#2 - Why can't we allow kids to communicate with pictures more often?

Written pencil & paper tasks often make me wonder this.  In response to this thought, I bring you the Infographics tab.

Also, be sure to check out the LiveBinder site Web Tools for Teachers under the Lesson Planning & P.D. tab.

And with that, I leave you with a visual, from the highly entertaining website Indexed.
