Report Card Blues?

As you work away at your reports, here is a little distraction for break time. I've added a few things to the site.  Check out the blog post entitled "Too Young for Facebook?" in the Digital Citizenship tab.

Also, Jane has been exploring this great new resource on UG2GO called "BookFlix".  It pairs a fiction & non-fiction book of the same topic in short online versions that kids can view independently, or you can use within a lesson in the classroom.  Awesome!  Check out the description in the Online for Students tab.

Also, I've added a new Infographic website called Visual.ly.  Matt Arnold who I am working with on the Digital Citizenship Initiative brought this one to my attention.  Absolutely worth checking out if you are thinking of using Infographics in the classroom.

Finally, many of you have been using the Media Awareness Network for years, but did you know it has changed recently.  It is now entitled MediaSmarts.  Check out their new website, it is amazing and the resources are endless.  You can find the link in the Curriculum Online Resources tab.

Of course, last but not least, a little fun to take your minds away from those reports.  Oh, the fun stuff you find on Twitter.  It's amazing what you can do with simple instruments.  If you think this is impressive, wait until you see the talent show!
